Currently they are looking for a talented Project Manager who has experience specifically working on projects in and around the Houston area. Additionally, they would like this person to have experience in EITHER design build, corporate interiors or medical tenant improvements.

Job Details:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Contract Construction Superintendent for a medical project. This role is vital to our operations, requiring a unique blend of leadership, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of state regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that our high standards of quality, safety, and performance are maintained at all times. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, providing key insights and guidance to ensure their successful completion.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction activities and ensuring they align with project plans and specifications.
2. Ensure all construction projects comply with state regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
3. Supervise and lead project teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
4. Develop and implement project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
6. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
7. Manage project resources efficiently, ensuring optimal use of manpower, equipment, and materials.
8. Resolve any issues or delays in the construction process, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
9. Provide expert advice and consultation on construction matters, leveraging your technical knowledge and experience to guide decision-making.
10. Continually review and improve construction processes and procedures, striving for operational excellence.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management a plus
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a construction superintendent role, preferably with medical project background
3. Extensive knowledge of state regulations relating to construction projects.
4. Proven leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing teams and projects.
5. Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant IT systems.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workplace.
