Job Details

We are looking to hire an experienced OBGYN Nurse Manager with active Massachusetts RN license with a minimum of three years direct patient care AND three years experience in an RN leadership role to serve as the OBGYN Nurse Manager. The Nurse Manager will enhance new and existing practices and initiatives, to further the missions, goals and strategic plans for the womens' health care coordination program and oversees the Women's Health team

  • Develops processes and protocols to maintain compliance of all initiative standards
  • Performs all record keeping duties related to maternity care services and chronic case management services
  • Provides, coordinates, reinforces and supports all health teachings with patients as needed
  • Obtains all information regarding labor, delivery and post-partum records within two weeks of delivery and coordinates all post-partum visits
  • Provides coverage to all OB patients as needed
  • Orients obstetrical patients upon the first registration visit regarding the content and process of comprehensive maternity care services
  • Oversees processes and assists with patient services
  • Develops an individual care plan for each patient
  • Implements case conferences when necessary, with other care providers, to implement the care plan
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the OB/GYN Medical Director, the AVP of Clinical Support Services

BLS American Heart Accredited
Acute care experience within the last 12 months preferred
