We are on the hunt for a seasoned Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role that will require the successful candidate to work both remotely and in-office, allowing for flexibility and balance in your work life. You will be a part of our Accounting + Finance industry team, where you will play a vital role in maintaining financial health and driving profitability. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, year-end close, property, financial statements, Reconcile, GL, Accruals, and more. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing financial statements and reports, ensuring they are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
2. Performing property accounting functions and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
3. Leading the year-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations.
4. Utilizing Yardi software to manage and track all financial data effectively.
5. Reconciling GL accounts and making necessary adjustments.
6. Preparing and posting monthly accruals and entries, and maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.
7. Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes, improve financial reporting, and drive business growth.
8. Providing support for internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. ( a understanding of property accounting is a plus)
3. Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
4. Expertise in year-end close procedures, financial statement preparation, and GL reconciliation.
5. Strong knowledge of accruals
6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
8. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make effective decisions.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
