Brandon Clark with Jobot is partnering with one of Greenville's best! My client is searching for highly motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a permanent position offering a hybrid schedule for the perfect work-life balance. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our diversified business, providing accurate data based on the financial standing of our company. This role will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and success of the organization, making it an exciting opportunity for those looking to make an impact.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements and reports, providing insight into the company's financial standing
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring they adhere to financial regulations and standards
• Provide accurate financial reporting, aiding in the strategic planning of the business
• Manage and mentor the accounting staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial procedures and processes
• Ensure that all financial operations comply with federal and state laws
• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
• Support auditing processes and cooperate with external auditors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

The successful candidate will be a strategic individual with 3-5 years of accounting and financial experience. Valuable experience can come from a public accounting firm (audit or assurance) or from working in an accounting position for a company, handling internal accounting work. You will be able to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and also be able to think strategically to move our organization forward.
