Job Details

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for real estate development and construction projects. Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing financial performance.

  • Real Estate Accounting: Manage all aspects of real estate accounting, including property acquisitions, dispositions, lease accounting, and property management financials.

  • Project/Construction Accounting: Oversee project cost accounting, tracking expenses, revenue recognition, and progress billing for construction projects. Ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals. Provide guidance and support for their professional development and growth.

  • Audit and Compliance: Collaborate with external auditors and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes to streamline operations, improve accuracy, and reduce costs.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with real estate and construction projects, implementing appropriate controls and procedures.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with accounting service providers, software vendors, and other third-party partners.

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and cost-benefit analysis to support strategic decision-making.
