Job Details

The Accounting Manager is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records including journal entries, assets, liabilities, and various financial reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of Consolidated business results.
Prepares month end close journal entries and consolidation elimination entries, and reconciles balance sheet accounts.
Issues timely and complete financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
Coordinates the preparation of external monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Assists the external auditors with the annual audit of consolidated accounts, including final tax provision, consolidation, and footnote disclosures.
Prepares reports for lenders, including compliance certificates, rollover notices, and quarterly management discussion.
Assists with preparation of quarterly board meeting, including preparing financial and operational reports.
Works with Finance Department to ensure accurate production of budgets and forecasts.
Supervise accounting team and procedures
Prepares and/or assists with Purchase Accounting for all future acquisitions.
Operational integration of all acquisitions, including ensuring synergies and managing financial performance.
Oversees the Accounting Operations of Subsidiaries, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.
Assists Finance Department with developing, implementing, and maintaining systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
Training and Supporting team members in all financial reporting and the use of financial systems
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.


Proficient in Excel.
Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting.
Ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
Highly proficient with accounting software.
Demonstrate competence in leadership and decision making.
Ability to keep accurate and detailed records.
Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure.
Must be comfortable working with confidential data.
Consolidation experience and Acquisition experience preferred.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Advanced Accounting Degree or CPA required
8+ years’ experience in comparable field or position

Supervisory Responsibility:

Manage and oversee accounting team.
