Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our CPA firm's dedicated team. The Accounting Manager will lead and oversee audit engagements, ensure compliance with industry regulations, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing client relationships.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic Finance industry team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of bookkeepers and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Review and analyze financial statements and reports, and prepare financial reports for senior management
• Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage and oversee the preparation of tax returns, including 1099 forms
• Provide guidance and support to staff on accounting issues and procedures
• Conduct staff reviews and provide feedback on performance
• Work closely with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and timely
• Manage and maintain accounting software, including QuickBooks desktop and online

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and tax regulations
• Experience with QuickBooks desktop and online
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
