Job Details

The Accounting manager is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely
financial statements and reports, reconcile, and analyze general ledger accounts and manage Account Payable department.

Ensure accurate and timely financial recording and reporting in order to report to the ownership group on a monthly basis and lenders on a quarterly basis
  • Oversee all accounts payable staff members and assist where necessary, including guidance for internal and external partners.
  • Provides financial information to management on a timely basis by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing report.
  • Perform cash application for various customers across several ledger companies
  • Collaborate with Accounting team in month end processing to achieve monthly close and monthly reporting deadlines.
  • Assist with or complete balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Manage corporate credit card program and associated expense management program for all employees.
  • Utilize weekly bank detail and system reporting to create a cash forecast to assess corporate financial position.
  • To assist Controller in supporting company objectives.
  • Manage the Automated Accounts Payable module (Concur AP automation).
  • Research, resolve, and communicate invoicing issues, discrepancies, or outstanding balances on vendor accounts accordingly. Reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure month-end accruals are properly recorded. Create and enter journal entries as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of our continuous improvement strategy within the department.
  • Review payment documents and initiate wires and ACH.
  • Support the accuracy of Accounts Payable related general ledger accounts by ensuring that routine activities are being completed in a timely manner (e.g., payments are entered, credit memos are applied)
  • Perform and/or prepare ad hoc analysis, tasks, and reports
Ensures that the Company is in compliance with all outside regulations such as taxes and audit:
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparation of analyses or schedules for audits and document compliance.
  • Preparation of sales and use tax returns and payment of all tax returns.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of Form 1099s annually.


  • Bachelor or Associate’s degree in Accounting is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience on Concur is a plus.
  • Exacting attention to detail with proven accuracy dealing with math and other data – “Smart Speed”
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. above average technical skills in Excel)
