Job Details

Position Description

Lead the monthly close process. This includes reviewing and approving complex journal entries and account reconciliations, loading financials for consolidation, preparation of control processes and quarterly financial reporting
Support international finance team for China financial close. Provide guidance on control process implementation and audit support as needed.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Assists in financial reporting, internal & intercompany communication related to accounting issues (e.g. revenue recognition) and other special tasks
Implements new procedures and processes as accounting requirements change with business needs. Ensure internal controls are implemented and followed. Manages preparation of audit responses and engagement for both financial and SOX control audits. Provide oversight for quarterly user access reviews.
Test and implements accounting system enhancements and works with technical personnel to resolve accounting system problems.
Manage accounting staff and oversee the day to day functions of the team. Provides leadership, training and staff development, and is responsible for staff performance management process.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5-10 years of Accounting experience
3+ years of management or supervisory experience
Experience in revenue recognition in a construction environment
Process improvement implementation experience
Syteline and Hyperion knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Preferred Requirements

CPA Certification Preferred but not required
