Accounting Manager

Our client is an oilfield services company specializing in the most complex and difficult types of well work utilizing hydraulic completion units and workover rigs.

The Accounting Manager will work with the companys CFO and other senior management/executives to improve financial reporting and develop efficient workflow processes. This role will have experience in staff supervision and preparing general ledgers, financial and budgetary reports, and financial forecasting.

Duties

Produce financial reports and statements.

Establish proper accounting methods and polices.

Coordinate and complete audits.

Meet financial accounting objectives.

Perform audits and reconciliations.

Manage income and expenditures.

Manage financial hardware.

Work within deadlines/keep accounting current.

Maintain general ledger.

Support monthly annual closing processes.

Audit sales tax and other tax returns.

Other projects assigned by management.

Position Details

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Status: Full-time (Hybrid- remote and onsite)

Amount of Travel Required: 25%

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Direct Reports: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
