Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our clients dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our organization. Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management: Take charge of all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

2. Team Leadership: Manage and supervise a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

3. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations and strategic insights to senior management.

4. Month-end and Year-end Closing: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.

5. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the availability of funds for daily operations and strategic investments. Develop and implement cash management strategies.

6. Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements.

7. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Proven track record of success in a similar role.

2. Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks and/or Enterprise Solutions. Experience with accounting software and systems in a multi-company environment.

3. Financial Analysis: Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights.

4. Accounting Principles: Thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. Familiarity with GAAP and IFRS.

5. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

6. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. Strong organizational and time management skills.

7. Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, analyze complex issues, and develop innovative solutions. Strong decision-making skills.

8. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred but not required.
