Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, and will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, including inventory, general ledger (GL), and treasury-cash management. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for analyzing daily and short-term cash flow data, and providing strategic financial recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Manage the inventory accounting process, including cost accounting and variance analysis.
  • Oversee the treasury-cash management function, ensuring optimal cash flow and efficient use of funds.
  • Analyze daily and short-term cash flow data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is required. CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in managing inventory, GL, and treasury-cash management.
  • Proficient in analyzing daily and short-term cash flow data.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
