We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team. Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising daily accounting operations including ledger maintenance, entries, and reconciliation activities.
2. Ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of monthly financial reports.
3. Implementing and maintaining internal controls to support the financial infrastructure.
4. Overseeing shared services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
5. Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes, improve functionality, and support company-wide financial objectives.
6. Coordinating with external auditors to carry out periodic audits.
7. Training and mentoring accounting staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
8. Utilizing advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.
9. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
10. Contributing to special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
2. Proficiency in JD Edwards or similar financial software.
3. Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL) and other accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
4. Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate monthly financial reports.
5. Proven experience in reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
6. Exceptional skills in Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookup, and other advanced functions.
7. Solid understanding of internal controls and risk management.
8. Experience in managing shared services in a complex organization.
9. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring staff.
10. Strong analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify financial discrepancies.
11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
12. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A CPA designation is a plus.
