Job Details

This position plays a key part in processing invoices, payments, and refunds accurately and on schedule. It involves collaborating across departments and ensuring vendors are paid correctly and on time. The role reports to a leadership position within the accounts team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Handle various types of invoices, including purchase order and non-purchase order transactions, and work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate entry of vendor invoices and credit memos while taking advantage of any early payment discounts.
  • Manage weekly payment processing through multiple methods (checks, electronic transfers, etc.).
  • Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and reconcile account statements.
  • Investigate outstanding items and maintain up-to-date vendor records.
  • Provide top-tier support to internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Adhere to internal policies and compliance guidelines.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Proficiency in widely used business applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with JD Edwards is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
