The ideal Accounts Payable has experience within Nonprofit as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Accounts Payable professional to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, strong knowledge of GAAP, and advanced Excel skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounts payable, bank reconciliations, allocating, and posting business transactions. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accounts payable duties, including processing invoices, matching purchase orders, and verifying payment terms
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Allocate and post business transactions to the general ledger
• Prepare and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Prepare and file requisitions for purchases and services
• Prepare aged invoices reports to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
• Prepare expense reports for reimbursement
• Work closely with board members and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and advanced Excel skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
