Our organization offers various programs and services, including Crisis intervention, Residential treatment, Substance use disorder support, Forensic mental health programs
In this role, you will be a 1099 contractor and be responsible for overseeing the clinical team for a 97-bed inpatient rehab hospital. The only day of the week we ask you be on-site is Monday for 4-8 hours -however long it takes to meet with your team and complete other administrative tasks. All other hours can be done remotely.

As a Medical Director, Psychiatry, you will provide visionary leadership and clinical expertise to drive high-quality, patient-centered care. Your role will be pivotal in shaping strategic direction, enhancing clinical outcomes, and fostering a collaborative healthcare environment.

What You Bring to the Team:
o Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program.
o Active California DEA License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Guide and inspire clinical teams, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
- Clinical Oversight: Supervise and support providers, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Operational Excellence: Partner with leadership to enhance efficiency, implement best practices, and streamline processes.
- Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Uphold healthcare standards, maintain regulatory compliance, and spearhead quality improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive collaboration and engagement.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and assess key performance metrics (KPIs) to improve patient outcomes and organizational success.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years in medical leadership, with a proven ability to lead and inspire clinical teams.
- Clinical Expertise: At least 2 years of experience treating adults with serious mental illness, including those with co-occurring medical and substance use disorders.
- Education & Training:
o Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program.
- Licensure & Certification:
o Active California DEA License.
