Are you an experienced Advanced Practice Provider with a passion for delivering top-notch urgent care? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team of healthcare professionals. This is a permanent role that will allow you to utilize your skills and experience in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. As an Advanced Practice Provider in our Urgent Care department, you will work closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals to provide immediate care for patients with non-life-threatening conditions. You will be expected to perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and manage a variety of acute and chronic health issues. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in urgent care and a commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
As an Advanced Practice Provider in Urgent Care, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Evaluating and treating patients with acute, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
2. Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as X-rays and EKGs.
3. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
4. Providing patient education and counseling to promote wellness and prevent health problems.
5. Managing a patient's care from admission to discharge, including follow-up and referral.
6. Documenting patient information and clinical data accurately and promptly.
7. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse, Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner, or similar role.
2. A Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
3. Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or equivalent.
4. Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, including X-rays and EKGs.
5. Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
7. A commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving the health and well-being of our community.
