Our organization, a front-runner in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Aftersales/Account Manager to join our team. The position will be primarily responsible for managing customer relationships post-sale and upselling our products and services. This role is pivotal to our business' success and requires a professional with a strong customer-focused mindset and a proven track record in aftersales management. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry. This position will be mainly in office in Oshawa with travel to customer facilities across southern Ontario at least 1 time per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective aftersales strategies to drive customer loyalty and retention.
  • Manage and strengthen customer relationships post-sale, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee account management, including monitoring and reporting on account performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Drive upselling initiatives, promoting additional products and services to existing customers to increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular reviews and reports on aftersales performance, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our aftersales strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in aftersales management, preferably in the equipment manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in account management and upselling.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
