Applications Engineer

We are a fast-growing automation engineering company based in the western suburbs of Chicago. Our company was founded in the late-1990s to deliver solutions to manufacturing and process solutions across large industries such as pharmaceuticals, aerospace, food, and wood! We provide process management, robotics, automation, and control systems. Business is growing, and our engineering team is looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to manage and oversee engineering project scopes, budgets, expectations, and design systems.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial design/Engineering or equivalent.
• Three years experience in mechanical/electrical systems design and applications engineering, working knowledge of material handling, robotics,

machine controls, and manufacturing engineering and processes.

• Requires solid technical assessment and presentation skills and knowledge of preparing complex proposals and quotes.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and design tools such as 2D and 3D software ACAD or Solidworks.
