We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced Permanent AR Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Accounts Receivable (AR) Management, including EDI billing, DSO Metrics, Aging Reports, Cash Application, and AR Management. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and who has a passion for driving process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.

Responsibilities:

As our AR Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of Accounts Receivable (AR) management, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit notes, and payments.
2. Managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) billing, ensuring all electronic invoices are sent and received accurately and on time.
3. Monitoring Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) metrics, identifying trends and implementing strategies to improve cash flow and reduce DSO.
4. Preparing and analyzing Aging Reports, identifying overdue accounts and implementing strategies to recover outstanding debts.
5. Managing cash application processes, ensuring all payments are accurately applied to customer accounts.
6. Leading AR Management, driving process improvements and efficiencies within the AR function.
7. Working closely with the finance team and other stakeholders to resolve billing and payment queries.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an AR management role, preferably within the finance or retail industries.
3. Strong knowledge of EDI billing, DSO metrics, Aging Reports, cash application, and AR management.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify trends and patterns in financial data.
5. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing a successful AR team.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and implement effective solutions to complex financial challenges.
8. A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards, with a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of financial integrity and compliance.
