Architectural Designer II

We are seeking an Architectural Designer with experience in the design of industrial and/or commercial facilities. Experience in the design of food production facilities including knowledge in sanitary design principals, cold storage design, and overall building layout design a plus.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architectural Designer to join our dynamic firm. This is a permanent position where your creativity, expertise, and technical skills will be highly valued and utilized. As an Architectural Designer II, you will be responsible for designing and planning projects related to food storage and refrigeration. You will be an integral part of our team, working on diverse projects and contributing to innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, develop and implement design concepts for various projects related to food storage and refrigeration.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop architectural solutions that meet project objectives and requirements.
• Utilize Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other design software to create detailed architectural drawings and plans.
• Coordinate with other professionals such as contractors, engineers, and surveyors to ensure project success.
• Review and manage project design development and coordinate revisions if necessary.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and codes.
• Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing any questions or concerns and making necessary modifications.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design progress and challenges.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our architectural design processes and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design, preferably within the Engineering industry.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other architectural design software.
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Architect.
• Knowledge and experience in designing food storage and refrigeration facilities is a plus.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, techniques and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
