We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Assistant Controller to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, maintaining the general ledger and managing the month-end close process. You will also be responsible for maintaining internal controls, supporting private equity transactions, and assisting with mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other accounting standards
• Oversee revenue recognition and assist with revenue forecasting
• Manage the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and reviewing financial statements
• Monitor lease accounting and ensure compliance with lease accounting standards
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Support private equity transactions, including due diligence and financial analysis
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and integration planning
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team and ensure that all work is completed accurately and on time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting standards
• Experience with general ledger, revenue recognition, and month-end close processes
• Experience with lease accounting and internal controls
• Experience supporting private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
