We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Controller to join our innovative manufacturing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment, where you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic planning of our organization.
Responsibilities:
As our Assistant Controller, you will be expected to:
1. Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
2. Manage the monthly financial close process, including detailed analysis of financial results, preparation of journal entries, and account reconciliations.
3. Oversee the integrity of the general ledger by maintaining a strong system of internal controls.
4. Collaborate with various department heads to assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
5. Utilize Dynamics 365 for financial analysis, reporting, and data management.
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance the workflow of the department.
7. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
8. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably out of manufacturing
