Job Details

As Assistant Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and compliance. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you’ll lead month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control oversight. You’ll also collaborate across departments to ensure financial accuracy and drive process improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage monthly and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under US GAAP.

Oversee accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, billing, general ledger, and internal audits.

Maintain a robust system of internal controls and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Develop, review, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.

Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and financial institutions.

Support ERP and financial systems implementation or upgrades.

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.

Provide strategic input to senior leadership on financial performance and operational improvements.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required); CPA preferred.

Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience; mix of audit and corporate experience a plus.

Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or aerospace environment highly desired.

Solid knowledge of US GAAP, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
