Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Defend and represent our company in workers' compensation claims and other related legal matters.
2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise on possible outcomes and risk assessments.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
4. Represent the company in civil litigation matters, both in state and federal courts.
5. Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining regular communication with clients, responding promptly to their inquiries, and ensuring their legal needs are met.
6. Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for complex legal issues.
7. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect the company.
8. Participate in internal and external meetings and presentations as required.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Prior experience in workers' compensation defense, civil litigation, and state and federal court representation.
4. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
5. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide prompt responses to inquiries.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound legal decisions.
8. Proficiency in legal research and the use of legal software.
9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
10. High ethical standards and professionalism in all business dealings.
