Seeking a civil litigation attorney, preferably with experience in defense.

Will handle various civil defense cases including, construction, product liability, premise liability, motor vehicle accidents and general liability.


Responsibilities:
Manage caseload under supervision of Partner
Prepare pleadings; Draft and argue motions/briefs
Construct and implement discovery plan; propound and respond to written discovery; taking and defending depositions; and manage document intensive cases
Trial preparation

Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

Licensed to practice law in New York
Strong oral advocacy skills
Strong legal writing and research skills
Knowledge of trial procedure and evidence code
