Our prestigious law firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense. The successful candidate will be a part of our dynamic team, providing legal expertise and services to our vast clientele. This role is particularly suited for a professional with a solid background in insurance, construction, and liability, who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney (Insurance Defense), you will be expected to:

1. Provide expert legal counsel to clients regarding insurance defense, with a focus on construction and liability issues.
2. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue for plaintiff's liability.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
4. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
5. Negotiate settlements on behalf of the client, aiming for the most beneficial outcome.
6. Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
7. Communicate with colleagues and clients to keep them informed about the progress of the cases.
8. Supervise legal assistants and junior attorneys, ensuring quality work and adherence to firm standards and legal regulations.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on insurance defense, construction, and liability.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Proven experience representing clients in court and before government agencies.
5. Demonstrated ability to draft and prepare legal documents.
6. Proficiency in managing multiple clients and cases.
7. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues efficiently.
9. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
10. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising legal assistants and junior attorneys.
