Job Details

  • Conduct legal research and draft a variety of legal documents related to medical malpractice cases.
  • Manage all phases of medical malpractice litigation including depositions, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial execution.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and responsibilities, providing them with the best possible representation.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the successful resolution of cases.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in medical law and medical malpractice litigation.
  • Represent the firm and its clients in court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
  • Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases.
  • Maintain client relationships and communicate regularly to provide case updates.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws as well as ethical standards of the legal profession.

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on medical malpractice.
  • Proven experience in medical malpractice litigation.
  • Excellent knowledge of medical law and legal procedures.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks, and work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in medical law and malpractice litigation.
  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
