Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal support and advice to clients.
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
- Prepare legal briefs and opinions, and file appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
- Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Present and summarize cases to judges and juries.
- Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain client relationships and confidentiality.
- Keep up to date with the latest legal trends and news.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on Bankruptcy Litigation, Legal Research, Legal Writing, Litigation, Civil Litigation, Family Law, Tax Litigation, and Immigration Law.
- Licensed to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar association.
- Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures, including the litigation process and legal compliance.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and attorneys.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, driven, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for law and justice.
