Associate Attorney

We are a mid-size, AV rated, Ventura County business litigation and insurance defense firm located within walking distance from the beach. We are seeking a litigation associate with 1 to 7 years’ experience. Ideal candidate will be independent and self-motivate.

Ideal candidate will possess:

· Excellent academic record

· Active or Pursuing California Bar License

· Experience or exposure to civil litigation and/or insurance defense

· Strong work ethic

· Strong advocacy and verbal communication skills

· Excellent research and computer skills

· Strong legal writing skills for written discovery, reporting, and motion preparation

· Ability to take depositions and handle case files

· Desire for court appearances, deposition and trial work

· Ventura County ties or a desire to relocate to the Ventura area

· Professional demeanor, common sense problem solving and can-do attitude
