Associate Attorney

Job Details: 100% Remote Attorney needed for insurance defense firm with good work/life balance. 100% paid benefits and 1840 billable requirement.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our legal team, you will manage a diverse caseload involving Civil Litigation, Construction Defect, Insurance Defense, and Commercial Litigation. This position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work for candidates based in Arizona or Utah. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal advice and assistance, depositions, trial experience, and insurance litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of civil litigation, including construction defect, employment law, and commercial litigation.
• Provide legal advice and assistance to clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of their needs and objectives.
• Conduct thorough and detailed depositions, ensuring all relevant information is collected.
• Prepare, draft, and review legal documents meticulously, ensuring they meet all legal requirements.
• Represent clients in court, presenting their case convincingly and professionally.
• Liaise with insurance companies, negotiating and settling claims in the best interest of our clients.
• Stay updated with the latest legal developments and changes in Arizona and Utah law.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal team, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the Arizona or Utah Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, specifically with Civil Litigation, Construction Defect, and Insurance Defense.
• Proven experience in providing legal advice and assistance.
• Experience in conducting depositions and trial experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Experience in insurance litigation is highly desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Must be based in Arizona or Utah, with the ability to work remotely 100% of the time.
