Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of issues related to mortgage, lien enforcement, foreclosures, entity formations, covenants and bylaws, and collections.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret various legal documents related to the aforementioned areas.
• Represent the company in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations as required.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to guide decision-making and strategy development.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement legal strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must possess a valid license to practice law.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Associate Attorney with a focus on mortgage, lien enforcement, foreclosures, entity formations, covenants and bylaws, and collections.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to the aforementioned areas.
• Exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to work independently, but also collaboratively as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
