Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our legal team in the construction industry. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients in a variety of legal matters. You will work closely with our senior attorneys to prepare and present cases, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in construction-related matters, including general liability claims, construction defect claims, and other related legal issues.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Prepare and present cases in court, including trial and appellate work.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Manage a caseload and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law
  • 3+ years of experience in construction-related legal matters, including general liability claims and construction defect claims.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
