Associate Attorney

Our firm is seeking an associate litigation attorney to assist with representing community associations on various real estate matters in the Tampa Bay Area. The firm offers a competitive salary and benefits. Considering both entry-level and lateral candidates.

Responsibilities Include:

Drafting pleadings, motions, appeals, and other legal documents
Review and interpret real estate documents and corporate governing documents in conjunction with state law, regulatory opinions, and arbitration opinions
Independently manage collection and deed enforcement litigation files
Attend client membership meetings and board meetings
Attend court hearings, mediations, and trial work
Advise and assist community association boards and managers with legal opinions, elections, enforcement, and collection litigation matters
Contract review
Independently manage case files and deadlines


Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the Florida Bar
Basic skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Westlaw
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to speak at public meetings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
