Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Permanent Assistant Plant Manager in the Finance industry. This is a unique opportunity to play an integral role in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for assisting with the overall management of a dairy production plant. You will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the plant, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of dairy production, including milk processing, HTST pasteurization, and bowl molding.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the dairy production plant to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Implement and monitor production plans, including scheduling, quality control, cost management, and compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage the plant’s budget, forecast production costs, and analyze financial data.
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards, including those related to dairy production, HTST pasteurization, and bowl molding.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and meets all safety standards.
• Assist in the training and development of staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a plant management role within the dairy industry.
• Proven experience in managing dairy production processes, including milk processing, HTST pasteurization, and bowl molding.
• Strong understanding of financial principles as they apply to plant operations, including budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and develop staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
