We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Assurance Senior to join our dynamic legal team. The Permanent Assurance Senior will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and compliance with legal standards. This position will provide a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, interacting with various departments within the company, and gaining exposure to multiple aspects of the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the assurance process for the company, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all financial statements and reports.
2. Conduct thorough internal audits, identifying any potential areas of risk or non-compliance.
3. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure all financial reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
4. Develop and implement effective assurance strategies and policies to enhance the company's financial and operational efficiency.
5. Provide expert advice and guidance to the senior management team on all assurance-related matters.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and changes in laws and regulations.
7. Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
8. Implement and monitor controls to detect fraud and other financial irregularities.
9. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on the status of the company's financial health and compliance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as Staff Accountant, Senior Staff Accountant, Audit, or Assurance Senior.
3. Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
4. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is highly desirable. Must have 150+ hours toward CPA
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial staff.
7. Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
