Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding construction law, including contract disputes, construction defects, and other related matters.
  • Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court.
  • Negotiate and draft construction contracts, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on potential legal risks and strategies.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
  • Stay updated on changes and developments in construction law and civil litigation, applying this knowledge to client cases and legal strategies.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the state Bar in good standing.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney.
  • Proven experience in construction law and civil litigation.
  • Specific experience with construction defect law is required.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
