- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding construction law, including contract disputes, construction defects, and other related matters.
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court.
- Negotiate and draft construction contracts, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on potential legal risks and strategies.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
- Stay updated on changes and developments in construction law and civil litigation, applying this knowledge to client cases and legal strategies.
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the state Bar in good standing.
- 1 to 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney.
- Proven experience in construction law and civil litigation.
- Specific experience with construction defect law is required.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
