Job Details
- Manage all aspects of construction litigation, including construction defect and warranty claims, construction lien foreclosure actions, and payment disputes.
- Handle litigation matters in both court and arbitration, including pleadings, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and expert witness coordination.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on risk management, contract disputes, and compliance with construction laws.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to achieve successful legal outcomes.
- Stay informed on evolving construction laws, industry regulations, and litigation trends.
Looking For:
- Licensed to practice law in Florida
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 5+ years of construction litigation experience, with a focus on construction disputes.
- Proven ability to handle cases from inception through resolution in court and arbitration.
- Strong expertise in discovery, including written discovery and depositions.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining a high level of client service.
