Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on a variety of family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support.
2. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
5. Collaborate with our team of attorneys to develop effective case strategies.
6. Maintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards at all times.
7. Keep clients informed about their case developments and provide regular updates.
8. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay updated on changes in family law.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in family law, specifically in handling cases related to divorce, child support, and custody.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload while providing excellent client service.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts succinctly and empathetically.
6. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
7. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
8. High ethical standards and professionalism.
9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
