Job Details
- Lead all phases of complex patent litigation in federal courts and before the PTAB
- Manage patent and trademark litigation campaigns, including case strategy, discovery, motions practice, and depositions
- Draft Markman briefing and respond to Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings
- Oversee post-grant proceedings, including IPRs and PGRs, and handle appellate matters before the Federal Circuit
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation-related documents
- Advise clients on patent and trademark enforcement strategies and litigation risks
- Collaborate with expert witnesses and trial teams to develop case strategies
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Needed:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- USPTO registration & Texas Bar admission
- 4+ years of patent litigation experience
- Technical bachelors degree preferred
