Job Details

  • Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring timely progression through the litigation process.
  • Lead and mentor a team of associates and support staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts to gather critical information.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
  • Develop and implement effective trial strategies, including the preparation of Motions in Limine and other trial-related documents.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Serve as lead counsel in jury trials, presenting cases persuasively to achieve successful verdicts.
  • Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients, maintaining regular communication to address their concerns and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • At least 3-5 trials as first chair, demonstrating strong trial advocacy skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate and dedicated client service.
