Job Details:

We are on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented and experienced Permanent Audit Manager to join our Public Accounting CPA Firm. This position offers a unique opportunity to take charge of our audit projects, and make a significant impact on our business operations. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of three years of experience in audit and accounting. This role requires a deep understanding of auditing principles, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Overseeing and managing comprehensive financial audits, operational audits, and SOX audits.
2. Developing and implementing audit plans, and managing the completion of audits within specified deadlines.
3. Supervising and guiding audit staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
4. Reviewing and approving audit reports, ensuring they are clear, concise, and provide value to management.
5. Identifying business process risks, evaluating the efficiency of controls, and recommending improvements.
6. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvements.
8. Providing technical guidance and training to the audit team, and promoting professional development.
9. Participating in special projects as required by management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Audit Manager position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. A minimum of three years of experience in auditing and accounting, preferably within the finance industry.
4. Proven experience in managing and directing an audit team.
5. In-depth knowledge of auditing and control standards, and proficiency in applying audit principles, skills, and techniques.
6. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to non-financial staff and senior management.
8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
9. Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
