Audit Senior Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our team. As a Permanent Audit Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our audit engagements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing exceptional client service. This is a permanent position with excellent growth opportunities within our organization.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage audit engagements for clients in the finance industry, including casinos and tribal governments, ensuring compliance with AICPA, GAAP, FASB, and GASB standards.
2. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for client management.
3. Provide guidance and support to audit teams, promoting team development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.
4. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
5. Review and analyze financial statements, internal controls, and audit findings to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions.
6. Stay updated on industry regulations, emerging trends, and best practices to enhance audit methodologies and provide valuable insights to clients.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as tax and advisory, to provide integrated solutions and support client needs.
8. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk-based audit plans to address potential areas of concern.
9. Prepare and present audit reports to clients and senior management, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies.
10. Mentor and coach audit team members, providing guidance on technical matters, professional development, and career progression.

Qualifications:
1. CPA certification and membership with the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
2. Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP, FASB, and GASB standards, with experience applying them in the finance industry.
3. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in auditing, preferably within a public accounting firm or financial services organization.
4. Experience working with clients in the casino and tribal government sectors is highly desirable.
5. Proven track record in client management and building long-term relationships.
6. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
10. Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
