Audit Senior Wanted for Public Accounting Firm

Our public accounting firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and a passion for providing top-quality services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

* Lead audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up
* Supervise and mentor junior staff members on audit engagements
* Ensure audit engagement team is adhering to firm standards and best practices
* Review work performed by junior staff members to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAS
* Develop strong relationships with clients and act as the main point of contact for client inquiries
* Stay current with accounting and auditing developments and implement new techniques and approaches on audit engagements

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* CPA certification or eligible to test
* A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit
* Strong understanding of GAAS, GAAP and financial statement preparation
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize tasks effectively
