Basic Assurance Manager description follows these two paragraphs - if you're an Assurance Manager at a CPA firm currently, you can skip the extra reading. Ideally would be looking for a generalist background while any additional experience is a bonus - if you don't fit that bill, apply anyways and I'll check out your resume. This post is for Assurance Managers or Supervisors, but if you're an Assurance Senior, Senior Assurance Manager, (pretty much anything in audit or assurance at a CPA firm) - feel free to apply directly to this post, too, because these companies are always on the lookout for great new people.
I've worked with over 100 of the IPA Top 400 Firms and have narrowed down the list that I'll work with to 7 firms. I've placed with all of them, I'll follow up with people after they start, and everyone is very happy still. These have been vetted and scrutinized to a high degree because I only want to work with the best firms possible. I have complete confidence that if you land at any of them that you should have a thriving career with way less stress compared to any of the normal "work-you-to-the-bone-firms". If your hours are bad now, the culture could be improved, you're generally unhappy, your growth is limited, or you just want to see if there's something better out there - call me and I can help. - Hunter Dahlstrom
