Our firm is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Audit Supervisor/Manager to join our expanding team. This role will be pivotal in providing comprehensive financial audits and advisory services to clients across various sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, technology, real estate, professional services, and non-profit organizations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for auditing Employee Benefit Plans. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to enhance your career in the finance industry, with a focus on professional development and growth.

Responsibilities

1. Plan, supervise, and execute financial and operational audits, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
2. Conduct interviews, review documents, compose detailed reports, and prepare working papers.
3. Lead and supervise audit engagements to ensure they are conducted in accordance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Review audit work papers and financial statements for compliance with professional and firm standards.
5. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to client management, and discuss these findings and recommendations with the client to ensure corrective actions are taken.
6. Develop and maintain productive client and team relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
7. Mentor and guide junior staff by providing regular feedback, training, and fostering a positive learning environment.
8. Participate in business development initiatives that contribute to the growth of the firm.

Qualifications

1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
2. Minimum of 4 years of progressive audit experience in a medium to large public accounting firm or equivalent, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
3. Experience in auditing across various sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, construction, technology, real estate, professional services, and non-profit organizations.
4. Demonstrated experience in auditing Employee Benefit Plans.
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, set goals, and manage time, priorities, resources, accountabilities, schedules, and cost.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead and work as part of a team.
9. Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Commitment to professional growth and development, and to the firm's core values and code of conduct.
11. Willingness to travel for client engagements, as needed.
