Job Details

The Manager, Banking Operations oversees branch operations, deposit systems, and compliance to ensure efficiency and regulatory adherence. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex tasks independently.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee branch workflows, service quality, and operational processes.
  • Ensure adherence to banking policies and procedures.
  • Manage teller cash dispensers and training for deposit products.
  • Conduct and review branch audits, certifications, and cash audits.
  • Assist with deposit risk assessment and fraud prevention.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Coach and mentor branch managers, fostering a strong, cohesive team.
  • Lead process improvement and succession planning initiatives.
  • Oversee branch communications and conduct quarterly manager meetings.
  • Manage HR functions, including performance evaluations and approvals for time off.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Branch Security Officer and manage vendor relationships.
  • Oversee deposit application systems, including product specifications and new implementations.
  • Balance customer service excellence with risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and policies.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of banking experience with strong leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of banking deposit operations, preferably Fiserv Premier Core.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, and related compliance requirements.
