We’re partnering with a growing commercial services firm based in Austin to help them identify a Client Billing & Support Analyst. This is a critical, client-facing finance role embedded within a lean, fast-paced accounting team. They invest heavily in onboarding and support—but need someone who can keep up and lean in.

Job Details
The billing function directly affects payroll, job costing, and area manager bonuses. This isn’t just data entry—it’s about building trust across teams, communicating with clients, solving problems, and owning results. If the monthly P&L is wrong, someone doesn’t get paid correctly. Your accuracy and follow-through will be felt up and down the chain.

- Own billing for a major portfolio (Austin is the largest) with 500+ recurring customers and ~1,000 invoices per month
- Enter invoices through a mix of recurring and event-based services; reconcile billing with 3rd party portals and internal systems
- Submit through multiple portals and respond quickly to client questions or disputes
- Support collections and job cost tracking; accuracy here feeds directly into team bonuses and client trust
- Use Excel to manage files, build pivots/lookups, and adapt to system quirks (Power BI and others)
What You Need:
- Strong attention to deadlines and time management; this role is fast-paced and deadline-heavy
- Comfort juggling competing priorities and asking for help when needed
- High proficiency in Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, vlookups/hlookups) - some can be trained
- Ability to work on-site full-time in SE Austin (flexibility for appointments is supported, and some work at home days allowed)
- 3–5 years of billing/accounting experience preferred; degree not required but a bonus
- Familiarity with BI tools or interest in developing skills in that space is helpful
