Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Oversee the entire billing process, including the creation of billing schedules and analyses as needed.
- Research and respond to any billing inquiries, issues, or problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with firm billing policies and procedures, including firm write-off policies.
- Manage the ebilling hub and ensure its smooth operation.
- Handle complex legal billing matters with professionalism and efficiency.
- Supervise a team of billing professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate with the timekeeping department to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Utilize task codes and UTBMS effectively in the billing process.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to streamline the billing process and resolve any issues.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on billing activities and issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the legal billing field.
- Proven experience in handling complex legal billing matters.
- Strong knowledge of ebilling hub, task codes, and UTBMS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle billing inquiries and issues effectively.
- Strong supervisory skills, with a proven track record of leading and managing a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to create accurate billing schedules and analyses.
- Proficiency in using billing software and other relevant computer applications.
- A strong understanding of firm billing policies and procedures, including firm write-off policies.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, managing both remote and office-based tasks.
- A degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
