We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boiler Engineer for a permanent position in our dynamic manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal to our operations, as it ensures the optimal performance of our boiler systems and related machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of our power generation and steam production equipment. Responsibilities:

1. Design, install, maintain, and optimize power generation and steam production equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.
2. Implement project management principles to oversee the installation and commissioning of new boiler systems and related machinery.
3. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring all equipment is serviced and repaired as required to prevent downtime.
4. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, taking immediate action to correct any safety hazards.
5. Conduct regular inspections of boiler systems and related machinery to identify and rectify potential issues.
6. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments, ensuring our systems remain at the forefront of technology.
8. Train and mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
9. Liaise with suppliers and contractors, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and within budget.
10. Prepare and present reports on boiler system performance, providing recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Boiler Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in project management, production engineering, installation, and commissioning.
4. Thorough understanding of safety awareness, policies, and regulations.
5. Excellent knowledge of power generation equipment and steam production.
6. Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues at all levels.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Must be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
